Ting Zhu earned a B.E. in engineering mechanics from Tsinghua University, an M.S. in mechanical engineering from MIT, a Ph.D. in health sciences and technology from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology, and postdoctoral training from the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences at MIT and the Department of Molecular Biology at Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2011, he started working at Tsinghua University’s School of Biological Sciences.
